Product Overview
The HN101 Pressure Seal Gate Valve is designed for high-pressure isolation service in ANSI pipeline systems. Compared with conventional bolted bonnet gate valves, the pressure self-seal bonnet structure is commonly used for higher pressure classes where internal pressure helps energize the bonnet sealing arrangement.
This series is suitable for oil, gas, steam, power plant, petrochemical and other compatible industrial media where full-open or full-closed operation is required. The catalog reference covers Class 900, Class 1500 and Class 2500 configurations.
HN101 can be configured with raised face, butt-welded or ring type joint end connections depending on pressure class and project specification. Material options include carbon steel, Cr-Mo alloy steel and stainless steel options.
For engineering guidance on bonnet selection for high-pressure service, read our article comparing API gate valves and pressure seal gate valves.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main difference between HN101 and HN100?
HN101 uses a pressure self-seal bonnet structure for high-pressure service, while HN100 is a standard API cast steel gate valve with a conventional bonnet arrangement.
Which pressure classes are available?
The catalog reference covers Class 900, Class 1500 and Class 2500. The available size range depends on the selected pressure class and end connection.
Can HN101 be supplied with RF, BW or RTJ ends?
Yes. Raised face, butt-welded and RTJ end configurations may be selected according to pressure class, piping design and project specification.
