Product Overview

The HN103 Pressure Seal Globe Valve is designed for high-pressure shut-off and selected throttling service in ANSI pipeline systems. Compared with conventional bolted bonnet globe valves, the pressure self-seal bonnet structure is commonly used for higher pressure classes where internal pressure helps energize the bonnet sealing arrangement.

This series is suitable for oil, gas, steam, power plant, petrochemical and other compatible industrial media where full-open, full-closed or controlled flow operation is required. The catalog reference covers Class 900, Class 1500 and Class 2500 configurations.

HN103 can be configured with raised face, butt-welded or ring type joint end connections depending on pressure class, piping design and project specification. Material options include carbon steel, Cr-Mo alloy steel and stainless steel options.

Key Features

  • Pressure self-seal bonnet structure for high-pressure ANSI service.
  • Globe valve body pattern for shut-off and selected throttling operation.
  • Rising stem structure for valve position indication.
  • Guided disc and seat arrangement for stable shut-off performance.
  • RF, BW and RTJ end options depending on pressure class.
  • Available in Class 900, Class 1500 and Class 2500 configurations.
  • Handwheel operation standard; bevel gear operation may be selected for larger sizes.
  • Suitable for high-pressure steam, oil, gas, petrochemical, refinery and power plant pipelines.
