Product Overview
The HN66 Y-Strainer is an EN/DIN industrial pipeline strainer designed to mechanically remove solid particles from flowing media before they reach pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps, regulators and other downstream equipment.
This strainer is suitable for steam, water, oil, gas and compatible industrial media where foreign matter may be present in the pipeline. The replaceable screen element allows maintenance teams to remove trapped particles and restore flow protection during planned service.
HN66 is available from DN15 to DN400 with PN16, PN25 and PN40 pressure ratings. Connection options include EN 1092-1 flanged ends and project-dependent butt-welded ends, with body material options including carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel according to service conditions.
Key Features
- Y-pattern body design: For pipeline filtration and equipment protection.
- Replaceable SS304 or SS316 screen element: For project-specific media compatibility.
- Suitable for steam, water, oil, gas and selected industrial process fluids.
- Flanged and butt-welded connection options according to project requirements.
- Self-acting filtration by line pressure, without manual operation.
- Drain screw arrangement for maintenance and cleaning procedures.

FAQ
Q: What is the main function of the HN66 Y-strainer?
It removes solid particles from flowing media before they reach downstream equipment such as pumps, meters, steam traps, control valves and regulators.
Q: Can the screen be replaced or cleaned?
Yes. The screen element is designed for maintenance access. Cleaning intervals depend on media cleanliness, differential pressure and service conditions.
Q: Which screen material is available?
SS304 and SS316 screen options are listed in the catalog. Final selection should be confirmed according to fluid compatibility and project requirements.
Q: Can HN66 be supplied with flanged and butt-welded ends?
Yes. HN66 can be supplied with EN 1092-1 flanged ends or project-dependent butt-welded ends.
Q: Is this product manually operated?
No manual operation is required for filtration. The strainer works by line pressure, while screen cleaning is handled during maintenance.
